About Airscape Media

The founder of Airscape Media, David Johns, has over thirteen years of experience in journalism, radio, TV and online media. His credits include roles at ITN, ITV, GMTV and the BBC as well as many local radio stations around the south and south-east of England.

David first became interested in Internet TV in 1997, back when broadband to the home was a distant pipe-dream. He wrote, presented and created audio and video for the web including such pioneering sites as Silicon.com and Worldpop.com

David has a First Class LLB (Hons) degree in Law from the University of Kent, specialising in media and intellectual property, as well as a degree in Computer Studies from Loughborough University of Technology. He is also NCTJ qualified in media law.
